Melanie has been a member of our eyecare team since 2018. Originally from the Philippines, she got her first exposure to the optical industry working with her mother, an optometrist in the Philippines with her own practice. She worked at her mother’s optometry practice for 4 years as well as attending university to obtain her Bachelor of Education degree and Engineering degrees.
Melanie moved to New Zealand in 2006 where she worked in customer service for 6 years, subsequently relocating to Melbourne with her young family in 2012. She is now a Point Cook local and her 2 young children attending school locally. She is kept busy with her children’s extra-curricular activities.
