Cert IV Optical Dispensing RMIT
Mai grew up in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. She has been working in the optical industry since 2002. Mai originally started working in optics with one of the world’s leading international lens manufacturers, Hoya lenses, in customer service. She has a thorough knowledge of the lens production and manufacturing processes.
Mai completed her certificate IV in optical dispensing in 2004, and in the same year commenced working for a busy multinational optical retailer. It was there that Mai learnt many optical dispensing skills to compliment her working optics knowledge. Working for a large company, Mai had the opportunity to work across many stores and locations, gleaning experiences from other senior optical mechanics, dispensers and optometrists. In 2007, Mai’s love for fashion took her to Chapel Street, South Yarra, working in a busy independent optical boutique.
Mai moved to Melbourne west and joined the team at Sanctuary Lake Eyecare in 2015. She enjoys going to the movies, shopping, camping and gardening.
